After getting on this site I was driving along really going nowhere, and one of are so called classic rock stations out of the blue mind you, plays 157 Riverside Avenue. I looked up "No Lie" I had just passed Riverside St. Here in Wichita. Now if that is not a sign of something forthcoming I don't know what is. I just bought the new Essential REO Speedwagon 2 CD set. Looking at thier also available alubms or CDs if you will. Remember having "You Get What You Play For" on cassette. I wore the damn thing out. In my mind I thought it was the best live alubms ever besides "A Decade Of Rock & Roll". What can I say I'm addicted to Gary's playing. This is one addiction for anyone that loves guitar to have. I have this Dream of sitting alone in a club, looking around at all the people also alone, no words are passed, Maybe they're worn out buy the crap on the airways too. The stage has only one Amp, a Les Paul Guitar, and a man with a smile. The silence is broken by a Flying Turkey Trotting on stage. Everybody now captived by the performance hold the same smile upon their faces. What a dream! Anyway Thanks again for listening. Your friend and fellow Fan Shawn Layne Wiseman

Lets talk about underrated guitar players! There is no doubt that Gary is a genius, the Master of the guitar, and may I add a beautifully, creative artice! I'v seen him only three times in my life live, and I must say - "SHIT I CAN'T FIND ANY WORDS TO USE". How about CAPTIVATED. One of those moments in time that you hold on to forever, and if some one says "Hay what about Eddie, or Slash, or Steve Perry". The only thing I can say is "OVERRATED". I'ts kind a like a taste test, if you will. You put them all on a stage blinded from the audience, and let them do their thing for 13 minutes each, and wait and see who stands out on top. In my mind there is no question who will satisfy your craving for guitar. Mr. Richrath! Anyway, Thank You All for standing behind one of most underrater guitar players in history! P.S. Is there anyone else out there that thinks that Michael Allsup of Three Dog Night is also a very underrated guitar player? Thanks Again Shawn Layne Wiseman
