The "band" is multitracked guitar synthesizer, all played in realtime. Winner of the recent TOS midi contest for "Burnin' Chrome". Check it out - it's a jazz-rock fusion piece with an intentional "Steely Dan" flavor, and some intense soloing by "sax" and "rhodes piano" over an interesting and unusual chord progression.

This has been driving me crazy. Are you by chance the same Clif Kuplen who lived in Raleigh, N.C. and went to grad school at NCSU in the late sixties to early seventies? He was my friend and mentor (though he probably considered my sorry teenage buttocks an annoyance- I used to pick his brains for guitar technique, which I sorely lacked in those days). Anyway he was a great guitarist and seemed to have fallen off the face of the Earth sometime after I left the Big R in '74.

Anyway, you play great!
