Joe Robinson

Joe Robinson is a singer/songwriter/guitarist originally from Cortland, NY. His main influences come from 70’s pop/rock and 80’s hard rock. Joe played in many groups throughout the Central New York area since the age of 16.

In the early 90’s, Joe formed the band PHOENIX. They were a solid three-piece group, and played the Central New York area for about 2 years. Sometime later PHOENIX recorded the album “Trail of Tears”, but soon after broke up due to creative conflicts on the band. Joe remained vigilant, and continued without them.

After several starts, Joe decided to put “Trail of Tears” on the internet. He re-released the album and the response has be nothing short of astounding. Joe’s mp3 site is visited by the hundreds, and a significant worldwide fan base is growing. He has been reviewed by many magazines, including STRUTTER’ZINE in the Netherlands and Spin City in Belgium just to name a few. “Trail of Tears” is available on the internet as well as Gravity Records, a mail order catalog in the UK. This is only the beginning..

Anticipation is growing for Joe’s new album “No Boundary”, due out later this year. It is expected to be even bigger than his first release. There are also rumors of label interest overseas, and a new talent recognized in Joe Robinson.
