Kay, I'm David Suppa from the soon to be recorded band "Final Heaven", I'm the lead guitarist. We mostly play complex heavy metal stuff and some softer songs, anyway. The best advice for you guys the "Vladimir Vivas" is that if you want to sound good, constantly alternate between palm muting and harmonics with the pics on guitar and have the drums or whatever play open and closed cymbols (I have no f'n clue what they're called) and also don't always have the base playing the back up for guitar, have it play another part that harmonizes with the guitar. If you guys would like a kick ass Idea for a song I suggest the add on effect which I developed which is; don't start with the main riff but build up to it with all the band members (a great example is Enter Sandman by Metallica). The best way to describe that is to play the 1/4 of the riff the 1/2 then 3/4 then play it fully and for leading to a verse or whatever play the riff with pick harmonics.
