I recently purchased an aged guitar,make of which reads "Memphis" on the headstock. I purchased it at the famous flea market arena in Canton, T.X. for $74.00. It has the cherry-sunburst finish. All the the original equpiment is intact; control knobs, toggle switch, humbuckers, pickguard, e.t.c. It came with a case which bears the initials S.K.B. As far as info goes, I don't really have much on this guitar. I was hoping to find out if it is worth anything on the market. The only other piece of knowledge I have is that Pete Townsend used a Memphis exactly like this one in the rock opera Tommy( Watch the VHS movie, "The Who's "TOMMY" in the Pinball Wizard scene}. Aside from this, I don't anything else. Any info is appreciated.

You know, I got a Memphis for free from a friend (really bad condition) and I am fixing it... Who makes it? I heard it's Gibson but I dunno, can't be too sure on that.
