Hey,
Does anyone out there know of any official Robin Trower tab books? I don't need Billy joe Bobs version. I'm looking for authentic tab. Please help. Hard to believe that one of the most influential guitarists of our era has no official tab books, yet we have a dozen by the Back Street Boys? Help. Thanx Robert Scott

Re: Official Robin Trower Tab Books

Other than the Hal Lenoard book ,there are no others in publication that I know of. I've Been playing Robin's tunes for years now and found no other tabs on the net that are significant. I would, however, suggest the one published book. It will give you insight into the basic chord structures Robin uses most of the time and some of the patterns that make his music very unique. I'm about to dissect the solo for Daydream and I'll let you know what I find if you're interested.

Good Luck,
BJones

Re: Official Robin Trower Tab Books

Further to my previous posting, I am now pleased to announce that there is an 'official' Robin Trower-Bridge of Sighs Tab book available, It is published by Hal Leonard, and under license to the Chrysalis music group. The ISBN: 0-634-07849-6, list price is $19.95, and so far I have only seen it availabe in the US. Please see www.Amazon.com to purchase it, or if your in the UK and dont want the hassel of ordering accross seas, try Bob Pearman books www.pearman-books.com/ he can get hold of most books that available anywhere in the world, at a competitive price.
Hope this helps everyone
Leon.
