Satriani meets NIN....is that a guitar or a synth?!
i've had a number 2 industrial electronic hit at mp3.com with the
track "Overclocked" - many listeners think they are hearing synth
leads when in fact they're filtered guitars, sometimes triggered by
an Alesis optical effects unit. it's a lot of fun to play that way, with
left hand on the frets and the right hand using a touchless gestural
controller.
