Rockin' blues slide guitar...a real treat for hardcore blues and rock fans!Kane Daily brings Delta-influenced slide and early 1970s
blues/rock riffs to both his live performances
and original songwriting.
He cites several people as his influences, from Ry Cooder to Johnny Cash
to Muddy Waters. An incredibly self-taught, proficient musician from Inwood, New York,
Kane was largely influenced first by blues-oriented classic rock'n'roll
and later by the Delta and Chicago styles of blues.
Kane has spent over twenty years playing in various bands.
His wide scope of infuences has led him in several different musical
directions, giving him unique facets to his playing style.
After playing with different musical projects, he was motivated
to form his own namesake group.
Keeping the true tradition of the blues alive,
Kane finds jamming with other musicians inspiring and rewarding.
The Kane Daily Band has been featured in several special New York-area shows,
including the July 2003 Riverhead Blues Festival in Riverhead, NY, and
"The Gathering Of The Slides," a concert at Berkner Hall in Brookhaven, NY
in March, 2003. Kane's unique slide style was featured in both shows.
The Kane Daily Band released the CD "Ain't No Millionaire,"
a collection of both blues classics and original songs,
in autumn 2002.
