One of the four Finalists of the 1997 Fender
Blues Guitar Competition invited to attend the 1st Annual Fender Blues
Festival on Catalina Island, Paul Cummins has been active in Los Angeles'
Blues and Rock scenes since 1968; both performing and recording with the
area's most popular and talent musicians.
That weekend on Catalina proved to be an eventful one for Paul. Jamming
with the likes of Jimmy Vaughn, Spencer Davis, and Carmine Appice, Paul also
made contacts which led to him being offered to tour nationally with Chuck
Berry as the guitarist in his backup band; and to a number of appearances on
local television.
His debut CD "Bluteus Maximus" is currently being played on FM radio
stations in the U.S, Europe, and South America; and the follow up record is
due to be available at the end of Spring 2004.
Catch them live at the better venues in Southern
California.
