Sturgis Nikides, former lead guitarist for John Cale (of the Velvet Underground), releases solo CD. Massive slabs of National Steel slide guitar virtuosity mixed with great songs. A must listen for anyone interested in MUSIC.

The guitar playing on this CD is truly fantastic. Mississippi delta blues and New York punk had a baby and they called it "Man Of Steel". This is honest heartfelt music from a man you can tell has seen a lot first hand and he brings all of that to the table. I imagine if you checked, you'd find blood on his strings. Don't miss out on this solo debut.
