I may be one of the daughters of Morrison.
I don't know for sure. My mother took that info to the grave with her last year. All I was told is that he was a famous "DEAD" musician. I am a musician myself and do not wish to capitalize on his name if this is fact true.
What I do know, is that it is entirely possible because my mother worked for what was MGM Records in NYC from 1968-1971. She was a party girl and has met many a "rockstar". I had an "unatural" attraction towards Morrsion as a child. When I saw his picture I would point and baby bibble some words. I remember seeing one of those mirrors they used to sell at Spencer Gifts with his picture on it. I grabbed it and threw a tantrum. She hated him. Called him a "pig". Thus, I was not allowed to have anything with his likeness or name on it. Mind you, I had Moon Dog albums, Stooges, and Alice Cooper bootlegs at age 3. So it wasn't like she was some "born again". I do remember the day he died. I was only 2 years old, but from what I can remember it was a big deal; friends cam to console her etc.. After around that time I remember being told that, "daddy died".
It would be cool to know for sure, but in a way it doesn't matter. If he is my father then I am at fortunate enough to have know what little I could gather about him from his music and writings. If he's not- then someone else must be. Aaaa-YEAH!
Do I resemble him? Yes, but I had a friend that was the spitting image of Morrison and I can assure that he was of no relation.
Have I inherited any "traits"? Yes, I fought my battle with the bottle and I am prone to excessive behavior of many sorts.
Like I said, it would be cool to know for sure, but I am comfortable doing my own thing.
I'm sure there are more than a few of his bastards running about.
