Hello Kentucky Cousin!
I am a descendant of some Kirtleys who left Ketucky in the early 1800's, settled into Missouri and eventually moved to Colorado and ended up in Oklahoma.
I am a finger picker or no-repute who has been hung up on blues since I was weaned, but I am going to have to patronize you by getting my hands on some of your recorded material.
Of all things, my grandmother met my Kirtley ancestor in Winfield, Kansas, in the latter part of the last century.
I will have to get up to Winfield and watch you "fire up that Taylor guitar" myself, when the opportunity presents itself.
I am a 52 year old postal employee and a serious music lover and I DO LIKE CELTIC MUSIC.
Has Stephen Hill ever played your stuff on his "Music From The Hearts of Space?"
Anyway, I hope to get my hands on a Taylor guitar like the one I say on your Website myself. A "GuitarCenter" store just opened up here in OKC and I played a Taylor which looked similar to yours and it had a crisp tonal quality that is best enjoyed "with the ears alone."
