29, and have been playing guitar/bass for 15 years .
Throughout the years I have had Gibsons, Fenders,
Rickies, Yamahas, Ibanez, Washburns etc… and was
generally very happy with what I had at that time. I
then discovered B.C. Rich guitars and was hooked.
They beat every competitor in every dep., build
quality, sound, variety of woods, pickups etc, support
was fantastic and so on. I then began to collect more
B.C. Rich’s and haven’t been disappointed with any of
them.

Yo sup? I just got a BC Rich warlock too. I couldn’t find left handed but I hear lefties should go with right handed guitar. We have better coordination in our left hands making it easier to play chords. I love my warlock, I wouldn’t change if for anything. It sounds great, I got it for a spectagular price, and it’s one the tightest guitars I’ve every seen.

yes sad but true Max has shifted camps to the ESP Viper i think ESP has been trying to entice more metal heads to their guitars so that they can apeal to the youth market.

I’m selling my warlock for $100. It is mostly scratch free but has one blemish/chip near bottom left tip (can’t see from front). It is used so it’s not perfect but i have put about $75 into it for varios reasons such as having brindge redone. I also had action re-set (for faster playing) and bridge raised (no fret raddle and major down tuning abilities) and the electronics rewired for a cleaner sound. ALso had the groves pollished so it doesn’t break strings (45 dollar job). Right now it has a new set of elixers on it (15 dollar strings). If your interested let me know!

Personally, I wouldnt buy it. The newer imports are not that hot. I am a B.C. Rich freak, and although it looks cool, it is still an import. IF you are gonna spend the money, hunt down a cool mid to late 80’s USA model. Just my opinion.

i have a rave two warlock shaped bolt on neck i bought it off ebay for 103.00 dollars its white
i have one, bought it in the late nineties for around 200 irish pounds. don’t think it’s worth anything at all now. it’s korean made, heavy and hard work. but it gave me years of fun and sentimentally it’s priceless.

Is it shaped like a Warlock or a Gunslinger? These were the bottom of the line imports, they were replaced by the Bronze series. Typically I’ve seen them on E-Bay for $100-$150.
It is not shaped like either, it is a strat style body.
I bought my BC Rich Rave II in 1988 and paid near $1200.00
This guitar was not replaced by the bronze series, as that was a line of BC Rich guitars that were offered in the modified bodies sch as; Warlock, Bich…
Yes, this guitar is quite heavy and the tone are hard to match if you are looking for that perfect mid-late 80’s sound.
A better idea of the Rave II can be found in the 80’s band WARRANT’s video of Cherry Pie.
I believe your guitar is worth significantly more than $150, as this was NOT a cheap guitar to purchase, especially in the mid 1980’s thru early 1990’s; however I do not know the exact value, as I have never had mine appraised, due to having exceptional plans of keeping it. 🙂

My wife, God bless her, brought home a B.C. Rich Bass, I beliece circa 1982 or 83. Rich platinum series strat style for $100 can.I bought it from a music store really cheap cause the owner didnt like it.Its serial number is 11532.What year is it made and any other info would help.The guitars paint was originally blk,but the idiot stripped it down to wood on the front only?? and I bought it and spraybombed the frount with auto paint.It looks good except u can see the wood grain in one part.where is this guitar made?oh and i REALLY like the action but the switches and knobs are crap.

look in musicians friend they have a couple nice warlocks they go up to around 600 and down

Dan, I have a mockingbird bass that I bought new in Falls Church, Virginia around 1978 to very early 1980. Too much loud rock n roll, I can’t seem to remember the exact date. The serial # on my bass is 34442. I think it listed for about $1,599.00 and I paid about $1,000 to $1,100.00. Do me a favor and e-mail me what you paid at auction for yours / condition it was in.
