Im still unsure on the year...serial number websites lead me to believe its either a '53 or '63...im thinking 63 but have yet to see a 1963 model for comparison. Found a pic of a 1958 which is the exact model and color.

Fantastic condition..90% near mint. A couple dings on edge..havent touched since recieved from late grandfather over ten years ago.

Specs:

BODY
1958 to 1969: masonite/poplar (or pine) frame, double cutaway "shorthorn" style, 13.25" wide.

NECK
1956-1969: Poplar bolt-on neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.

PICKUP
1955 to 1969: Single pickup-Alnico bar magnets & copper wire wrapped in brown tape and mounted in surplus, chrome plated, lipstick tube.

PEGHEAD
1956-1966 "Coke Bottle"

"Seal" shaped pickguard and two control knobs
