Hey Guitar guys, i have a 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom Limited Edition Goldtop, Serial#80560084, it has a Pearl Plate on the back of the headstock with (Reg No 42) meaning it was the 42nd one made of this kind, vintage dealers and appraisers tell me it is a limited edition and has a gold lacquer finish that gibson didnt show in 1980, i bought it new, it came from the factory just like it is, they say thay havent seen one like it, are any of you familiar with a les paul custom like this or know anything about it?, i got on the net for sale but i dont know if should sell such a Rare Guitar, what do you think? email me for any pics at tcouch662000@yahoo.com
