I have a new American Deluxe Strat with the noiseless pickups. The one thing I like is that you can turn the guitar to 10, and if your amp is clean, there is NO noise unless you play. It is the cleanest sounding guitar I have ever played. I had a 25th Anniversary model, but this one sounds better.

Man! After all the advertising Kinman has done to tell the UNIVERSE about his amazing pickups, ya'll STILL don't know about him and his fantastic pickups??? Look people....if it's clear, uncompressed, sweet, dynamic, AUTHENTIC Strat tones you want, y'all won't find them with the Fender Noiseless crap, or the Lace Holy Grail garbage!
Open your brain-things and check out Kinman's AVn Series of pickups. If to you, they aren't amazing, and put all other brands to SHAME, y'all should really be playing Les Pauls, because it's clear you don't know ANYTHING about Strat sound.

I have not liked Fender's Noiseless Pickups either. I find them harsh, metallic, industrial, non-Strat and without harmonics & chime.
Mr. Kinman makes good pickups and so does Tony

Ok,
I have a 1983 Fender Elite Strat with noiseless pickups. Everyone that plays my guitar tells me that it has a much better sound than their Strat. I am not sure what the newer noiseless pickups sound like but I do know mine are awesome. They also have a pre circuit that runs off a battery 9 volt. Hope this helps. Bill

Fender Roc Pro GE412 cabinet
I have a GE412 cabinet with the silver face and was wanting to change the face to the black Roc Pro grill to match my Roc Pro head.
Is the grill on the Roc Pro 412 cabinet made out of the black metal mesh like the head face? If so could someone help me locate a sorce to purchase the grill?

1983 strat
i need the wiring schematics for the 1983 fender strat that has one volume, one tone and the jack in the second tone hole. i cant find any from fender and need them fast. please help, thank you
Coronado II bass?
Saw one of these for sale recently and was curious about the sound quality and its value. Hollow body bass, completely bound including F holes. Sort of green mint/mist color, 2 (single coil?) pickups. Is this a good or great bass? Asking price is $650. Any opinions out there? Thanks.

Hello I am looking for some strat elite knobs or just the caps that go on them also I am missing a roller lock thing that goes on the head stock. I don't know what it looks like. any input or pictures would be great . THANK YOU...........

I have a 83 Elite Strat with noisles pick ups. I belive I saw the knobs for sale at www.stewmac.com they have just about everything for building guitars. Good luck. Bill

Neck Finish - Strat
Hello:
Got a slight ding in the finish on the neck and wondered what type varnish Fender uses? Anyone have any luck touching up a neck?

Hi, I've got a question to ask. My fender strat is about 2 years old, and I just found out from my repair man that the neck is bowed so bad that It has to be heated to be bent back straight, and the frets recarved or whatever. Ive heard from some guy that he had that done to his guitar(which didnt have a trussrod) and it just went back to being bowed within about 1 year. And he had to have it heated again. I was wondering if that's gonna happen to my guitar. I dont wanna have to pay this much money to have it heated and bent back to normal every 11 months. HOpefully you can give me some insight. I was also wondering how long Fender's warranty is on their necks and stuff. Thanks alot Todd

What is it worth? 69 Re-Issue.
I have what I believe is a 69 re-issue MIJ Stratocaster. It's Surf Green. The Serial# identifies it as made in 1986-1987. Any help would be appreciated.

A NEW 2000 re-issue strat goes for about $500 I would assume it would go for $300-400 depending on where it was made and what shape it is in but knowing that in the 80's fender guitars were made with not nearly as much quality as past years or years after they don't sell for much at all. I am not sure if the re-issues were made the same but that would seem to be about right $300-400 near mint (a few scratches here and there) .and P.S. unless u are thinking about trading it in you might try selling it in on e-bay if you ar5e selling for cash you tend to get a little more because when u sell it to a dealer they have to think how much they can get for it then charge you less then what it is worth.

Strat Elite Tremelo Bar Wanted
Need a chrome bar for an 83 Strat Elite. This is a "snap-in" type. Does anyone have one that will fit? By the way this is for sale at $850. Silver gray in Near Mint condition with original case. I'd like to trade for a Tele Elite if anyone has one to trade, or a Rickenbacher.

If you are referring to the Robben Ford type Elite series prior to Fender making it a signature custom shop model, it was produced in Japan for one year only, 1987. I have one and put EMG's on it and get nothing but compliments on its tone. Hope this helped. If I were to buy one today, I would have to go through the custom shop ala Robben Ford model.
