I was recently given one of these guitars; it requires cleaning and new strings but the guitar looks to be in good condition.
Your post has been around for several years; perhaps you have acquired some infor on this particular model.
Did you get any information on this guitar. I am having trouble finding info for this model. It is 12 string and made in japan.
Can you tell me any thing about it - history, value etc.

I thank you in advance for any light you can shed on this guitar.

Not sure of the exact manufacturing date, but I have one that I bought new in August 1988.

My brother bought an old silvertone at a yard sale. The serial # is 4608H1213. It also has F-56-T on a stamp on the guitar. How old is it?

It sounds like an archtop f-hole guitar made by Harmony in the Fall of 1956

i have one to--don't know the exact year. but are you guys saying that all Alvarez acoustics of that era were made by Kasuga?

I also have one, purchased December 1977. The cost was about $300 new at a music store in Alabama.

what do you mean looking for. I have one I got ina pawn shop. it probably is the thickness of an SG or a little thicker.

this girl has a vega guitar i would like to get the info to her.she has the last model guitar that vega made at their factory in needham heights,mass.it was called the americanna it to was made in late 1969 the body was made by harmony,or goya vega only made the neck and put it together. its not a bad little guitar but the sides were made from plywood the bad part it hurt the sound of the guitar.and the guitar did not sell at all good for vega.the name of the co. that made it was the w.m. nelson co boston,mass.if she was to want to sell it email me her price.i had a vega guitar someone stole it from me i would just like to put this one up. i have a HD-28 MARTIN TO PLAY and a old 1963 gretsch i bought in 1963 i have it put up i do not play it no more.vega was bought out out by the MARTIN CO.in 1970.they also bought the goya co. at that time.the deering banjo co. in calif. now owns the vega name.and makes a few new banjos with vega on them.at the time martin bought vega they had got down till they had only 18 people in the whole factory that is why they bought the bodys for the guitars.from what i can find harmony made the body on the guitar you have. jbrown191@charter.net. in marion,north carolina.

Looking for my custom Ventura 12 string

Some years back I had my custom Venture 12 string stolen in Florida and am trying to track it down. It has a Sun Burst finish and a nick in the upper left hand top of the face and the bridge has started to pull away from the face. If anyone has seen it please let me know. Thank you.

Oasis electric guitar

Has anyone heard of Oasis guitars? I have an electric, double cutaway, matched flame maple body (not just the top, but the whole body!), gold hardware, with early Bartolini Beasty? humbuckers and an ebony fretboard on a maple neck. I bought it new in Denver around 1979 - 1980. The body style resembles an Alembic. I have searched the web high and low without any results. The Oasis factory was in California, I belive. Any information would be appreciated.
