I'm looking for any information(date manufactured, approximate value, etc.)available on an Alvarez Model 5085 Acoustic guitar. Haven't been able to locate anything on the internet. Thank you.

Just to let you know I have purchased one of these great vintage guitars and find it to be quite nice for the price. This was an early 70's 80's model with dual electronic outputs and knobs for volume, and basic sound. This is a very rich sounding guitar, and with the right strings sounds great. It was worth 400.00 in the day and maybe about half that now depending on its shape. Hope this gives you some idea.

The guitar was made between 1985-1987. Original retail was 515.00. Clean worth 260.00 now. Wholesale on this model is Mint 154.00 Avg. 90.00.
This was taken from the Orion Blue Book of Guitar Values. Hope this helps.
