ya i have one thats flawless but no case, have had it for 20+ years and never played it.
Hello. Im looking for some info on the breadwinner limited. I have an original that is in wonderful shape. My grandfather gave it to me when i was a child and it has been stored for years. I placed it for sale on craigslist, and was surprised at the response i recieved. I guess i didnt know what i had. The only thing that is wrong with it is that one screw cover for a key is missing. Other than that flawless. Any information on this is greatly appreciated.

I have a Classic White Ovation Breadwinner. All original parts. Never painted or repaired. Serial E00741. It looks exactly like a Final Prototype I have seen on another site. Original Case as well. Case is a sort of flimsey Black with red interior, the shape of the Guitar.

Do you have any pics you can forward? What condition is the neck/frets? Any dings, scratches, cracks, etc anywhere on the guitar? How much are you asking?
Thanks

I have the opportunity to purchase 16 ovation collectors guitars from 1982 to 1997 for $18,000. I did not look at all the serial numbers but the ones I looked at were usually numbered in the 500’s and 600’s. Please advise.
Thanks.
I’m lloking for the complete electronics, bridge and pickguard for an Ovation Deacon. The rest of the guitar is in perfect condition so I will try to build it up again.
Ok I have a stupid question…
What type of adhesive did/does Ovation use to attach it’s necks? I have an oval back 12 string that has had the headstock broken off so many times that there is very little hope to save it again (assuming it breaks again, which I’m sure it will!). I would like to take a stab at replacing the neck, if I can find another that needs a new home. I am an intermediate woodworker, and feel confident that I could do it, if it’s not epoxied on. Somebody please tell me it’s on there with Hide Glue!!!
I’m selling a Breadwinner on ebay. Check it out… Search for item number: 2568307883 It’s in really good condition. Just a few dings here and there, but it’s all original and plays great! Email me with any questions.
I have an Ovation Breadwinner which I probably want to sell, it depends on the offers that are made. It is not a collectors item, it was played throughout the years. The guitar was professionally refinished by an Airbrush Artist. It shows a Union Jack over the whole front, including the pickguard, the pickups are not oversprayed. The back of the guitarshows a space scene, black space with some planets and stars. The paintwork cost me about 550$. Pictures can be sent to you upon request. Electronics is in original condition, frets are ok. There is an original hardshell case which is not in a good condition but it does the job. The guitar is located in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
This guitar is still for sale. Asking for 550 $ plus shipping costs. Two pictures of this guitar can be viewed at http://www.dieterweb.de/html/gitarrenphotos.html
If you are interested, please send a short message.

If anyone is interested, I am selling my tan Breadwinner at a consignment shop for $300. It is in great shape, has new strings and batteries. Hardshell case and owner’s manual. Also, I replaced the old noisy transisters with factory-purchased FETs, so it is nice and quiet. E-mail me for a picture and info on the consignment shop.
Perhaps you could help me. I’m trying to find out what impedence
the pickups on my Ovation Deacon are. They’re supposed to be low I think
but I wanna get more precise. Any idea?

Are you the same Jon Way who used to play in a band with Rick Watkins? If so, HELLO after 30 years. I have started playing my 6-string Breadwinner guiar again. I live in Rochester, NY and also play a solid body 12-string and an acoustic 12-string. I came across your name when I was searching for a 12-string Deacon.

I’m trying to get a value for resale for a 12-string Ovation I bought in Vegas at a pawn shop in ’83. The neck is still straight as an arrow and the pick-up makes it sound as good or better than ever. Acoustically it’s definitely Ovation – great quality!
Please help!

:Hello (:
– I Have an Ovation 12 String Guitar that is in Excelent Condition, With an Ovation Hard Case That is in Mint Condition, With Velour Interior. Im trying to find out a Value.
Dick – I recently bought a 1615 in mint condition for $450. I think I got a really good deal because I have seen the guitar offered for $650. Another website I found suggested a range fo $400 to $600. Of course the 600 range would probably be for mint condition. Hope this helps.

i have #414, also in excellent condition. There is a huge variance in price for this guitar. $500 to as much as $3400 on reverb. Why is there such a difference? Everyone of my guitars has gone up in value. $5oo is less than I paid in 1983. I had an offer of $3500 in the early 90’s from a guy in Japan. I guess i should have taken it. Lesson learned.96m7e
I just bought a 1983 Ovation Collector’s Series in excellent condition, with the exception of the volume knob being broken. The volume still works, just need to replace or fix the knob. Any idea what the value of the guitar is today?
