Hi, can anyone help me out on any info on this guitar? i have a 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom Limited Edition Goldtop, 42nd one made, Serial# 80560084, it has a pearl plate on the back of the headstock with (Reg No 42) on it, meaning it was the 42nd one made of this kind, i was thinking of selling it but like to find out about what its worth, an Appraiser in Nashville, oh yea, i am from the USA, He told me it was a Limited Edition Model, 42nd one made with a very Rare Gold Lacqure Finish that Gibson did show in 1980, i bought it new, he said he nevr saw one like this one, email me for photos of the guitar and numbers if it would help you at tcouch662000@yahoo.com, any info will be appreciated, thanks
