I hear national made a lower end guitar called the supro...I saw one at a music store and i love it....where do i find more info on it?

yes mabe only one but i bought a supro back in the mid 60's, double pick up, wave bar, blond in color , jazz neck, looks like a les paul? I love it any supro owners please let me here from you

I just stumbled across one too (on the net).
It looks great. I want one...
I live in Europe, and I *think* it was made in Spain.
They also made some models out of artificial materials (glassfiber etc.).

Let me know if you find more interesting stuff on this.

Hi All
I bought one with an amp with the same serial number,that looked like a 3/4 version of a 1 pick up Les Paul Junior. I believe it was a student set up that they sold through music schools. When I was in Seattle Wa in the early '70's I seem to recall seeing a fair number of them in the pawn shops there,but don't have a rerason why. Alkways thought they were made ther due to their quantity in the immediate area but could be wrong,have been in the past and likely will be again. Guess this just adds to the mystery. By the way I founf mine in 1068 at a coffee house.
