: I own a 6 string acoustic flat top caled a Sho Bud "Club Model" with hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs up the fretboard. The label says it's hand crafted in Japan under the direction of Music City Mfg. Any ideas about how old, worth, etc.? Thank you.

John,
In the late 70s' SHOt and BUD added acoustics to their already money making steel guitar business. My guitar matches the description of yours, but it is the "Diamond Model". I hear there are one named after each card suite.
The goal was to compete for the Martin business
I would have a hard time parting with mine.
For collector purposes, one in great condition should be worth near 1 thousand dollars.
