I have a hand made kurosawa guitar from the 70's, serial no 1. would any one know more about this? Sound is great.

:I also have a 72 Kurosawa, serial # 4. Bought in Calif. It is perhaps flamenco style, cypress or maybe yew back and sides.

Yes, I have a Kurosawa also, bought in northern CA around 1971. Model #4, signed. Rosewood back and sides, cedar top, mahog. neck. Have been trying to find more info for years. any help out there?

I found some information about Kurosawa in the link below. I bought a Model 3 Kurosawa in 1973 in Northern California.

Not a lot from me, I fear. My Kurosawa is shown on
my website:

with some of my other instruments. You can see the
maker's label in some of the images. I got it in a
shop near Ikebukuro Station, on the outskirts of
Tokyo, in mid-1968. There's no serial umber; the
left column of characters is the maker's name,
"Kurosawa Sumio", and the right column is the
year: 1968.

It is a superb instrument, and even now is very
satisfying to play.

I have a very sweet, beautiful toned kurosawa Fuji model classical guitar, made at the Matsumoto factory in Japan. This Guitar was given to me some years ago by Anne Mortiffee, a Canadian Artist.I don't know how old it is, but is model #369

Hello,

I have a Jullian Guitar manufactured by Kurosawa that I was thinking of selling. It appears to have a cedar top with rosewood back and sides. If you are interested send me an e-mail and I can send photos. The instrument is in near perfect condition.

Kurosawa/Jullian guitar

I have a Kurosawa/Jullian Western accoustic guitar that I bought at a yard sale for $10.Its in pretty good condition with only some typical minor wear on it.It's made in Japan.The label on the inside says model B1 and I can't make out the rest of it.I can't find out any information on it.Does anybody know anything about this guitar?What's it worth?PLMK.Thank you.
