The Hong Kong Guitar Information Alliance (HKGIA) was formed in September 1990 by a group of local guitar music lovers, comprising members of the Hong Kong Guitar Music Association, the Hong Kong Classical Guitar Society and the Vihuela Guitar Ensemble.
Objectives
promoting guitar music in Hong Kong;
providing a channel for the exchange of ideas/information of its members;
providing for local guitar music lovers/organizations a source of information exchange and inquiry service;

Original alternative guitar rock band from Hong Kong
where in HK can I buy guitar effects, besides Tom Lee?
I went to Nelson in Mongkok and they haven’t even heard of the popular guitar effects brands.. appalling.
but why go elsewhere…they seem to have all the sole distribution rights for boss ect ect..
I’d prefer Yamaha fg’s with the Nippon Gakki label, but will consider others from 1969-1974 in good condition. Please contact me if anyone has anything for sale.

there’s no second hand/ vintage market in HK. Gibsons/Epi’s are sold through Tom Lee (try TST main store). Tsang Fook warehouse has some good Ibanez. ESP’s and NOS Kramers are available at Nelson’s Piano in Mongkok.
