Late 1960's "Gold" Gibson Les Paul - Humbuck (sp?) pickups

I have a "Gold" Gibson Les Paul that I purchased in early 1970's. I believe I was told it was made in late 1960's. I believe it
was one of the last years with the original "Humbuck (sp?) pickups.

I've look for some sort of serial # or the like on it to verify its age (I am not sure how age is determined). I know without
seeing it you can only guess -- but first is there any specific sign that tells it age -- and secondly as a real ball park
guess what it might be worth. It has some ware and dings on back side -- but front is almost like new.

Any information you might provide would be appreciated
