I have a Karera with Black w/cream lineing. To answer you question, YES it is rare. I've met very few people who have heard of them. Word is that the production of the Les Paul "copy" had ended some time ago. Not sure why. I actually prefer it the shape of the body compared to the Gibson Les Paul. But if you look them up, you'll find very little but some info on them. Hope I helped!
