Hi !
I have an ELK amplifier (it says "Viking Bass" on front)
It is in very bad condition, but I want to fix it.
It is a strange amp, using two push-pull output transformers
in parallel. Secundairy windings are connected in series.
It has a miniature 8-pin tubesocket next to the input (for 12a..7 ?), going to a miniature 8-pin socket wired for something like a 6bq5 (derived from the connections, wired as a triode), going into an interstage tranny, into two push-pull sections each on their own output transformer, wich outputs are wired in series.....
output valves could be EL34's or 6l6's
Has anybody seen this kind of amp before and know what tubes are used ?
Cheers,
Mark
