Howdy I have a 1960 or 60 m-20 guild. it has an old pickup that was installed at some discrase to the sound hole but other than that is in great shape. Recently restored professiionally. No original case. Great easy player with just what all of these guitars have. The price we will talk about as I know it will be costly to sent to the UK.
If interested e-mail back. I will be fair but I want what the guitar is worth.

I dont mean to be insensistive as I imagine it is a bit gutting having your guitar stolen. But can I ask you a question about the guitar? Did it have a ‘G’ on the back plate that helfd the neck to the body? I ask As I have a brown acousticaster that I bought off ebay last year that doesn’t…I just wanted to ask someone else who had one.

    Hi,
I’ve got a Guild M20 for sale, like Nick Drake played. Late 60s model. Bridge and tuners (now grovers) have been professionally replaced, though there seems to be a couple of hairline cracks developing on the back and one on the side, so it could probably do with some repairs. Comes with a hard case, though not a Guild one. I live in Herts, but am in London quite often. I wouldn’t really want to sell it to anybody without them playing it, as I’m no expert on guitars and I wouldn’t want them buying something they wouldn’t be happy with. I have pics I can email across as well. For sale: £410.
    Thanks

      Lawrence A. Larson

Hi. I own a 1973 Guild S-100 Polara as well, and believe it our not, I lost one of the volume nobs. Would you be interested in selling the original nobs, and if not, do you know where I can find original nobs, or compatible replacements? I’ve been looking everywhere, and this is the closest I’ve come, so your help will be truely appreciated. Thanks!

      : Thankyou
Hello from the other side of the pond. I have a 1960 or 61 M-20 guild in good condition with no case and a great old pickup (sound hole mounted coil type)
It sounds great, crisp, very light easy action a real player. I don’t know the cost of shipping to the UK however I am willing to discount a little to help cover shipping. The seriel number is 1406, Made in Hoboken N.J.
This guitar was professionally restored. A small crack on the top was repaired (about 3 inches). A new bone nut and saddle was added and the action and neck were adjusted. It plays perfectly but has normal wear and nicks with a scuffing off of the varnish in back (belt buckle marks), surface damage only not deep.
I want to get what this guitar is worth but I will be fair with the buyer and adjust cost to help defray shipping.
      Yours musically

  11. 1969 Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe for sale!
    Geoff Watson

    Hi,

I am sadly selling my 1969 Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe Serial No. 811493. It is a refinished goldtop and has been modified with large Les Paul Standard Humbuckers and a Varitone switch for those Jimmy Page Out of phase tones. Sounds incredible through a high gain amp, better than a Standard as it has more bodyweight and tonal flexibility with the switching. It weighs a ton so postage won’t be cheap, it also comes in an old Kramer case. £1100 GBP ono
    contact me on [email protected]

  13. Eddie Van Halen Kramer "candy stripe" For Sale!
    Geoff

1 x "Frankenstrat" Eddie Van Halen Kramer Baretta "5150" style guitar. Made from Warmoth parts (www.warmoth.com), it has a Floyd Rose bridge (original), Seymour Duncan "59 Humbucker and is finished in the candystripe (black, white and red) EVH finish (though it is not perfect, wood grain can be seen through the finish slightly and the black stripes are too thin for an exact copy) I was actually trying to get a wood grain effect which would wear quickly to a finish like Eddies! Body is Swamp ash and the neck is maple, also has the "5150" spacetape logo near the bridge and "Kramer" logo on the headstock. Plays fantastic (feels like a eighties strat!) Sounds incredible with loads of gain on the amp, real blisteriing rock tone. This is as close to the original as I could get without spending a stupid amount on a professionally made guitar. For pictures, just mail me! £350 ono – can post in proper guitar boxes!

: I am trying to find a second hand sobell guitar. could you help me?

You’re in luck! I have a 1998 Model 1 (Sicilian) for sale – beautiful Indian rosewood, stunning Highlander pick-up (fitted ‘spot on’ by Stefan personally) + Calton case (black exterior, green interior). Truly awesome sound – ask the soundman at my local club! Nicely played in but vgc (small, unnoticeable ding on the soundboard), recent fret re-dress (again by Stefan). Action currently set up for playing mostly in ‘tunings’ with medium gauge strings, though it’s perfectly happy in standard – and anyway Stefan would adjust it to suit you if necessary (at reasonable cost – a great man to deal with!)

Reason for sale? Genuine. I’m a self-confessed acoustic guitar freak. I custom ordered the Sobell in 1998 and have had great use out of it, but am now ‘rationalising’ my guitar collection somewhat. I’m in East Yorkshire, England. Where are you?

Oh yes – price! Well, with the pick-up and case it would cost you top-side of £3,000 now … and you’d have to wait ages. I’ll accept £2,000, payment in advance, buyer pays carriage + insurance. Not open to lower ‘offers’. This is a rare guitar, the buyer of which will understand!

      Hope to hear from you.

Hi there Tom, I see that you collect guitar? I have a very, very rare (one of only 2!!) Bourgeois guitar. It comes with a Calton Case. Would you be interested in a trade? I have had my guitar valued at £3400 but I am very keen to own a sobell. Please get back in touch

            Best Regards

            Is this guitar still available?

: : : : I am trying to find a second hand sobell guitar. could you help me?

: : : You’re in luck!

: : : Reason for sale? Genuine. I’m a self-confessed acoustic guitar freak. I custom ordered the Sobell in 1998 and have had great use out of it, but am now ‘rationalising’ my guitar collection somewhat. I’m in East Yorkshire, England. Where are you?

: : : Oh yes – price!

: : : Hope to hear from you.

: : Hi David, do you still have the Sobell for sale? Thanks, Buck

: Hi. If the guitar’s still for sale I’m definitely interested.
