I own a cherrywood Kasuga "gibson 335 copy" I purchased it in New Zealand in 1977 I think. The guitar is beautifully made although the neck is narrower than a Gibson 345 I owned. Yje sound was not that great and it lacked sustain.
I have since had gibson humbuckers, a varitone switch and Grover heads fitted to it.
I'm much happier but have to say I prefer my Es345 !966 vintage.
