Re: Avea or Anea Superformer Series Electric Guitar

: : I've have this Telecaster shaped solid body electric guitar and want to identify the maker and date but can't find anything on it. It has a maple neck with mechanically adjustable nut, enclosed machine heads, two pickups, and Kahler tremelo. Came in sturdy Unitech Case. Anyone out there know something about this fine playing guitar or can steer me in the right direction?

: : Thanks,

: I have an ANEA Powerformer series Bass guitar that is copy of a Daion MarkXX bass. I have tried to do some research but always come up empty handed. There is no serial #. There was and anea electric guitar forsale on ebay a few months ago and I noticed that it was a copy of Daions electric. I feel that somehow Anea and Daion are connected. My anea is a bolt on neck and the Daions are neck-thruogh. Daoin was a company in texas that was owned by a japanese guitar builder and they made very quality instruments in the early 80s but soon went bankrupt. That's about all I know.
Like you I have this solid body Bass that is a bolt on neck sound and plays great but cannot find out anything about it. I was told once that is might be german made, but have not been able to get anything I could bank on.
