I have one from 1978, type 8-u-133. Fingerboard ebony all through the neck so it will never bend. The guitar has been signed by Juan Orozco himself. On the back on the neck there is a serial number: 47251. Been playing on this guitar for 30 years now... Tone is soft, warm and sweet, although one can play flamenco or what have you on it. Love the instrument. I payed about 1350 Dutch guilders for it in 1978. To compare: a Ramirez costed 1800, but didn't match the sound of this Orozco.
: hi im looking for any information about J Orozco classical luthier guitars. It was made in 1979 and has the serial number 8/4/37/ on the label. I know nothing of this make and any help would be appreciated
