:What the hell, mine is an acoustic copy of the Gibson Hummingbird....I bought in 1972. Still has the best action of anything in its price range I've ever played..Mine is still "Not For Sale."

Conqueror Hummingbird

I found the one i have at a pawn shop about 10 years ago,it has the best action for an acoustic ,i have ever played. I only paid 60 $ for it .Who needs a over priced Gibson when you have one of these! My son loves it too and it will be passed on to him. I feel lucky to have found one and believe others who have one feel the same. I also found a Trutone acoustic that has the book end headstock like a Gibson and it has great tone also. It has a classic look with black upper and lower pick guards. I would like to know if anyone has seen or played one ?

Conqueror hummingbird replica cs27

I too have a conqueror and have had it for 40 yrs. It is the best sounding and easiest playing guitar I have ever played. I have had a ton of offers from people who wanted to buy it through the years but it is NOT for sale.

Re: Bruno

My friend is thinking of selling her Conqueror Hummingbird in mint condition. It is a 12 string acoustic. Any idea on where to find value?

Re: Bruno

I just picked up a Bruno "Conqueror" at a yard sale for $15. It is in great condition but needs electrics. I haven't played since the mid 70's but have wanted to start again so I couldn't pass this one up. It is identical to the one in this picture. http://gogomag.com/gfs/images/guitar_bruno.jpg

i just got a bruno conqueror banjo with original reciept from 1968 purchased in texas. it sold originally for $79.99 but it seems like a good one and is probably worth more now. not a pro model it seems but decent.
