    I’ve played guitar and bass in bands across London for the past 12 years. I’ve covered styles such as Blues, Funk, Pop, Jazz, Reggae, Flamenco, African…

    I like to break my lessons down into three parts:

    1 Theory- I give the student some basic theoretical knowledge, to help to understand the background of the music being played.

    2 Practice- When learning a new piece of music, it’s the repetition of the difficult parts, sometimes taking it slower than you expect, which really gets results… pratice makes perfect!

    3 Fun! At the end of the lesson I like the student and myself to play something easy, so we can have an extended jam and use music for its primary purpose- enjoyment!

    The areas I mainly teach in are: Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith, Acton and Ealing.

      i may be able to help.. i have taught for the past couple of years, particularly beginners, or those who haven’t played much. i can teach you both electric or acoustic or a combination. also the relative theory and most things you would need to know. most styles covered, but not classical.can suit most lessons to an individual guitarists needs.. costs would be £15 per hour, or £10 per half hour.

      I am a guitar based in north london. If you are a complete beginner and want to learn preoperly so that you know what you are doing when you play different chords give me an email.
      I also have a professional recording facility which could be used a periods to help you hear yourself and your progression.

      I offer private one-to-one lessons, really good stuff
      (I’m a graduated from the G.I.T.,Guitar Institute of Technology from Los Angeles)! I garantee you won’t find a better teacher out there, not for what I charge anyway, and to prove that I’m willing to have a first lesson free, with no responsabilities attached, that means if you don’t like me you don’t have to pay or continue. The only reason I’m doing that for new pupils is because I’m new in London and I need to get more pupils, that simple.     Hello, I am Andy the ex second electric guitarist from the band Solace Denied before we split up. I am still in a recovery ward in a hospital in North london but hope to move to one in Wimbeldon ASAP. I am still cpable of playing electric guitar well and feeling fine by the way but I’ve never learnt to play accoustic guitar. If I did so, which I do want to do, It would be in a mostly clasical style rather than anything folk or anything else. I have taught myself the theory behind European Classical music i.e. Counterpoint and am a big fan of J.S. Bach and the like. I would love to be able to play accoustic guitar pieces or lute pieces transcribed for accoustic guitar which were written in the Baroque period! I would like the contact details of any tutor capable of teaching this in the Wimbeldon area.
