hey I was wondering if your guitar or anyone had a picture of this guitar with the pick guard intact because mine was missing one when i got it and i like it alot it would be greatly appreciated if i could get the hook up on a picture so i can get the pick guard custom made thanX =D

I am having problems finding a case for my guitar.The model number is RP203U. I would like to find a good soft case, but will settle for a hard case. But I am having trouble finding the correct size.

I have a model 5043 serial # 40112 with a pearl like logo. The back of the body has a v like wood pattern in a lighter color of wood.

I wish I could find out also. I also purchased a mint 5024 with the dove pickguard, tunable bridge and the inlayed frets. The original owner said he paid $330.00 for it back in the late 60's. There doesnt seem to be much info. available on this model.

I have an Alvarez Yairi model 5075 that has 1973 printed inside as the year. Hope that helps.

hey!
well, i have an alvarez, and i have had it 4 about 3years
i play alot, and the fret board is only scratched slighty
in my opinion, it is a good geetar, but i am still pondering how much my brother bought it 4!!

Joe, how did you come up with a value of $190 to $240 US? I have a 1970 Dove in really excelent condition that was appraised for $1,450 - paid $250 for it new in 1970. Personally, I would pay $240 all day long and buy just as many as I could get my hands on for that price. This guitar is simply unreplaceable and sounds a hell of a lot better than my '70 Martin D18, '72 D35 or my '72 Gibson Hummingbird. like I said I would buy them all day long for that kind of money - - -
