Alembic Identification and Value

I have an Alembic Bass with the body style that Stanley Clarke played in 1974 and Louis Johnson played in 1977. It is a short scale and is not stereo. Is there a possible name for this bass and what is an approximate value?

Custom built Series 1 Alembic 4 string BASS

In 1973, I had an Alembic BASS built for me where I hand picked the woods and was custom built with red LED lights in the postion spots at the top-side of the neck with abalony inlays mounted on an ebony fret-board. It was the 51st built by Alembic and I believe that John Entwistle of the WHO had his build with what appears to the same wood stock of perma robla (sp?) because the back of mine sure looks like the one I saw his estate sold about a year ago. This is a one-of-a-kind Alemebic BASS in very good condition, with the 5 pin cables, power pack and brushed aluminum touring case (case is scratched because of of our tours in the 70's). I have hardly played the last thirty years.

I am an original owner of a 1979 series 1 with graphite neck. has everything original and in great working condition. Alembic said it would cost 12k to replace. Interested?

Have you found your bass yet?
I have one, I wasn't really thinking of selling it
but I could part with it. How much were you thinking?
Mine is a Stanley Clarke body style type (it's not a
Stanley Clarke model though), I'm not sure
of the year, I believe 1973, it's in great shape
and it comes with the power supply and the cord.
I'm in Vancouver, BC Canada.

'96 Rogue 5 String for sale

I've got a 1996 Rogue 5 String XL scale bass for sale, it's in excelent condition, one small belt buckle rub on the rear of the insturment and minor brass corrosion on the nut.
It was bought new by me in '96 and has very little wear, also has the original hardshell case.

Case for Alembic Spoiler

Anyone know how I might find a case for an Alembic Spoiler? I bought my Spoiler used and it came with a case that doesn't fit it (obviously not the original case). I'd like to put this bass into a case that fits it (and not a generic case that it'll move around in). Any ideas or possibilities? Thanks

I also bought a used spoiler a number of years ago, it was not in the original case, and recently I needed to find a case that fit.

I ended up getting a Coffin Case - The case has ample room, and I have put some extra foam inside to keep it from moving around too much.

Yet - I didn't really look for an original case.
