The Vintage Ibanez site will be online around mid January, 2000. WANTED: Ibanez Studio Bass
Looking for an Ibanez studio bass. My uncle owned one a while ago and got rid of it due to the fact that the active system had developed some problems. I beleive he told me it was the first bass mass-produced with an active system.
Anyhow if anyone know where I could get my hands on one I'd love to hear from you

I have a Deluxe "59er" Les Paul copy with the Original Curved Gibson Headstock (Suit Model?). Curley Maple top with the Cherry Sunburst. I am trying to fine what the actual value of this is? I bought it in almost mint condition in 1977 or so. Have not really used it much. Let me know what your opinion is..

Hello.
By cream color do you mean an ivory slightly translucent gel coat of an ash body?
Is the neck a maple one piece, ( no laminated fret baord ), with mop inlays?

Ibanez copy of Gibson j200
Does anybody know what the name and model number of the Ibanez copy of the Gibson J200 is? Also, how close did they get to the quality and sound of the J200. Thanks.

I have in my hands a copy of J200, called :Jamboree, Mod. No.: 698, no serial No. def. built in 1972, sb, crown inlays, mustache bridge (closed) with
pearl block inlays.

My father has had a Deluxe 59'er stored for 25 years. (never played)..Very rare, mint condition

Hi,
i bought an Ibanez Musician with active circuitry. All these parts were modified by the owner before me, so i'd like to redo it.
Because of this i need the original schematics. Anybody knows where to find them??

could someone email me the wiring schematics for a '78 ibanez musician guitar. i need to wire in original pickups. i was also curious about mounting hardware (screws, springs, etc.) whether i could use new ones, or if vintage ones are available. if anyone can help out, thanks!

i found them!! more than an electronic diagram is like a "map", but it's ok. We will have to be patience ;-)

I am trying to price my Artist. I am not selling it, but I want to know what it would go for. It is excellent condition,
serial number F785085. Set in neck, flying finger pickups with 3-point adjusment. All original, no dings.
Gold-plated electronics cover still has "Made by the proud crafstmen of Ibanez...Japan".
Tuning pegs are mother of pearl. I've seen similar models, but never one exactly like mine. I bought it new with
paper route money in jr high school, still my favorite ;-)

I have an '82, solid black,that says pretty much the same thing on the back cover but the cover is plastic. Mine has Grover tuners. Sustains like crazy! As good as any Les Paul I've ever played. I got it in a pawn shop in Brownwood, Texas for $250. a few yrs. back. A bit heavy but this is my main axe.I've been told I could get $$650-$700. for it now. It also is not for sale.

There made by Phantom Guitar Works in Seattle. He makes them off shore somewhere, when I last talked to him they were produced at a factorey in India. I forget the owner's name.
The original Phantom and Teardrops were produced by Vox, and they produce re-issues now under different names, as Phantom now owns those names.

I recently purchased an early 90's 5-string soundgear SN#F9758013. I believe it to be a 1305. If anyone could help me determine the year and model of this bass I would appreciate it. I paid $500 and it is in mint condition. It has natural wood (stained), a 5-peice laminate neck, gotoh tuners,mother of pearl oval inlays, and soapbar pick-ups.

Ghostrider wanted
Will pay upwards to about 500.00. Please, no kids wanting to rip off claiming this guitar is "vintage". The highest priced one I have encountered was on e-bay(551) and the lowest Ed's Guitars(x w/case-429).
