    I have an Ibanez Artist Bass crica 1976 in very good condition. Open pick ups and pearl frets. I’m looking to offload it and was wondering what sort of price I should be asking for it…I would appreciate any advice.

      g’day mate,
      i recently picked one up from a hock shop very cheap ($200 AUS)and i took it straight in for a service and fret dress, and i asked the guy there what they were still worth and he told me i could still pick up $800-$900 for it depending on the condition of course, but i think their a great guitar so don’t sell yourself short.

    I have an Ibanez SG (the "lawsuit" copy I believe it is refered to!) Made in Japan, horseshoe Bigsby, 2 humbuckers, in fairly good condition. Would anyone know how much I should be asking for it? Cheers.

    Trying to find the value of a black Deluxe 59’er since I might be selling. It is black w/gold hardware. The hardware is faded. It has the Gibson headstock (not Guild). It is kind of dinged up and has some cracks in the finish. It is made in Japan but has no serial number so it is my understanding that this was made pre 75. I can post some pics if anyone needs them.

    Own an Ibanez Musician guitar build in Feb. 1980.
    Does anyone know what the original pickups look like?
    think the former ownwer put in Gibson pickups. They are creamy coloered
    in the look of puff´s.
    My guitar´s got 2 "silver" switches on the bottom a bigger one at the upper front to switch the pick ups.
    The hole hardware is in silver colour.
    Is it an MC 350?
    How much is it worth?

    Would be great to hear from anyone!

    how can i find out what it is using the serial
    numbers? other ones are cheapos im sure
    ones says" "cort" one says "national"

      : Cort makes low end guitars but the quality and tone is usually pretty good. The one that says national on it you should probably tell me more. e-mail me at mrt.guitar.com National is a really old name and if your guitar is flawless it may be worth something. as for your blue ibanez try going to ibanez site and find a simular model first.

      My dad purchased in the 80’s an acoustic 12-string ibanez guitar. All information I was finding on-line was, that it is supposed to be in the 1983 ibanez catalog, allthough the serial number says it was built in oct. of 1981…Anywho: After two house searching the net, I could not find any price or further info on the guitar, because I would like to sell it.
      The guy in my local guitar-store said, he would buy it for $ 1000, but I would like to know, if he is trying to rip me off ? Is that guitar really that rare ? Thanks for any answers in advance !

    I purchased this guitar about five years ago at a pawn shop. It is a very old looking ibanez and I have only been somewhat sucessful at approximating its value. It is somewhat of a stratocaster looking model but then again is unique also. On the back of the guitar is says model 883. It has the rocker switches for the pickups and has three single coil pickups. Guitar has no serial number and says japan on the metal plate on the back. Guitar is obviously rare because I have been unable to find any other guitar like it on the web. If you have any information on this guitar or are interested in purchasing it then please contact me.

      I too have one of these guitars. Mine has a red neck and is No. 5. I can’t find any info on the net about it and would like to know how old it is as it was given to me as a present in 2001.

    anyone that has a 70’s or 80’s ibanez les paul copy, any color or condition but prefer sunburst. trying to replace one stolen from me in 1987. this particular one was sunburst with gold type hardware, rounded back and had a carves curly maple top, never seen another like it since. reward for mine, curly maple top was busted and glued back on. would buy guitar back if you have it but looking for any simialer and or info or pictures of one if you have any.

    I recently got an Ibanez AF220 jazzbox in mint condition. It’s a 97 I think, and it’s a gorgeous guitar. It’s fairly thin, and it’s the butterscotch trans color with tortoise shell binding. Problem is, I can’t find out anything about it. Are they really that rare? How many were imported? What would the value be? Anybody else got one?

          I have an Ibanez DT420 Destroyer that I am trying to sell. It works perfectly and has a few chips/scratches here and there but it is what you could expect from a 6 year old guitar. Guitar was only really actually used for a few months. Let me know if you are still interested. No Case.

    I have a 1979 ibanez guitar in mint condition with all origional everything with active pickups.and the origional hardshell case as well.it was my gramps guitar handed down to me but the fret boured is to wide for me,as i have small slender fingers,and need a fret bourd to be smaller.so if anyone has a good trade for my guitar i would be interested,or to sell so i could get another guitar with smaller fret boured…thanks…Steve
