Mine was passed down to me in approx 1974, and it was about 5th hand then, in Auckland, New Zealand
no 1105
Now living Perth, Western Australia.

guess what, i have 1 too.... on the sticker inside the body it says model:raffaele calace no:2
does this mean mine was the 2nd ever produced, and does this mean its worth a fair penny?

I just bought one of these at an Antique Auction for $65.00 CDN
Mine is a single Cutaway Serial#3008
I cannot find any info on this guitar. Not the best I own but is great for the beach, no worries. Plays well sounds well and looks cool. Body is good, needs a fret job.

Raffaele Calace is the correct spelling of this signature. This may assist in finding a year for the guitar.

I've got one to! it has a green mother of pearl finger board and is No. 10, i've been told its around 1953, who knows, any help would be great !! oh by the way, it has a sunburst finish with mother of pearl inlay around the edges and up between the machine heads, any clues would be great, thanks people!!.

i have one to and my wifes mom bought it when she was 13 years old which would be 1945 if you factor in that it might have sat in the store for a year or two maybe 42 or 43 i dont think that it was a top of the line but who knows

I picked up one for AUS$15, also 1881 on sticker on inside. My serial no is 2. The guitar itself has seen better days, but completes the rustic old sound.
