I am looking for a good acoustic sounding solid Archtop Guitar. From what I have heard Ibanez made some great models back in the late 70's - 80's. What are the big differences between the FA models? I read that the FA-510 should sound very quiet and no-responsive acoustically because it has a very thick top. What about the Fa-800 in the 1978 catalog this model appears without a pick up. Is this a mainly an acoustic Guitar? How does it sound? Anyone here willing to sell one? I once tried a 1958 Gibson L-5 and I was amazed with the sound but not with price...
