I have a 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom Limited Edition Goldtop, 42nd one made, Serial#80560084, it has a pearl plate on the back of the headstock with (Reg No 42) on it, if you have seen a les paul custom with these numbers on it let me know, the vintage dealers i talk to havent seen one like it, if you have let me know, email me for photos at tcouch662000@yahoo.com, a very rare guitar, asking $5000, will negotiate, it may be worth a lot more than that, i cant find out anythin on it, no one has seen one like it, an Appraiser in Nashville said it was a Limited Edition Model with a Rare Gold lacquer Finish on it but he hadnt seen one like it either, if you know anything about this guitar let me knoe, thanks, no scamers please.
