lol, the guitar dates back to like 3,000 years ago. but Adolph Rickenbacher invented the electric guitar. i think that was the question you wanted right? the oldest guitar is like 3700 years old from baghdad i think. egyptians had guitars in cave paintings, during the renisansse in spain, they were some of the first people to document the guitar. i hope this answers your question... cuz i could make a whole report on how invented the guitar :)
