I first heard this cd during a trip to mississippi ,from my home in Texas. After the 1st time around it was hard to put down. From his guitar tangent's to the vocals on Black and White he will take you on one helluva trip.You can feel the words run through your bones as he plays that side arm of his(guitar)over the course of his cd Blues and Beyond . This is a must CD for anyone who's starting a road trip,he'll get you there and back, as you and Billy travel the back road's of this artist ROOT"S in the richest traditions of Mississippi Delta Bluesmen to strap on a guitar's. To see and hear this artist in person live will leave you feeling exhausted ,as you keep pace with his untireless efforts tomake you feel what he's feeling . Ladies,Gentlemen,and partners, this is a ARTIST that is the blues and beyond ,and just one listen and you'll be hooked on Billy Marquis and his soulful search as he take's you with him on The Blues and Beyond!!!!!!!!!!!
