I own a 1970 guild sg style I think it's a polara s100. It's mahogany neck through w/grover tuners and has a Hagstrom tremelo. I'm missing the whammy bar arm itself and I can't seem to find one anywhere, Please Help! ps, it also has 2 humbuckers, 2 tone knobs, 2 volume knobs and a 3way toggle switch. thanks Doug

The high e string tuning peg on my 73 blond maple neck stratocater was severly bent when my son knock my guitar off the couch onto a hard tile floor. My fault, never should have left it there...... Regardless, the tuning key broke in half and my local guitar guy says that it cannot be repaired, and the original part is not available anywhere, even on the internet due to an increase in fakes and forgeries.
1) Can this be repaired? The key seems irrepariably damanaged.
2) I was told the hole in the neck for the tuning peg is smaller than todays pegs, so I would have to drill, thus ruining the vintage value.
Can you obtain an origianl tuning peg from this era? and if so, how much. I will be in Rockland county during Christmas week and will make the trip if you can find the part.

I'm Rebuilding a 69 tele reissue and I am in need of a special wiring diagram.....
It has 2 pickups that are both the standard tele size but each one has 2 solid metal 'blades' each.....I beleive they are humbuckers
that are standard in size....
...each pickup as 4 wires and a shield...red, green, white, and black.
All I want to do is wire them up with a standard 3 way tele switch and 1 volume and 1 tone knob.....
Can you Help Me??? I've tried to connect them many ways, and even with clean soder joints I get sound but alot of HUMMM...
I'm not sure of the make of the pickup...But what options do I have?????
Any help would be much appreicated....

I have a mindnight wine (burgundy) Fender STd. STrat guitar. Unfortunately, I dropped it the other day and the wood was chipped along the back edge, the side behind the output jack. Could you help?

much. It said you should be able to wire the dual pickups for three posisions (like a les paul) and still have volume and tone control
in the middle posision. Also the pick ups have a red wire that was not explained, what's it for?

On the EMG humbuckers with 2 wires, (white, red) plus ground, the white wire is for dual coil output, the red wire is for single coil output. You can wire two pickups, using a 3-way switch like Gibson does (2 vol 2 tone) but you're going to have to use a coil-split switch (for the red and white wires) and from there wire to the vol pots, and then the 3-way switch. It's quite simple. Either that, or decide if you want a single coil, or double coil only guitar, and then wire up per Gibson Les Paul.
