Need parts for Melita bridge…1957 Gretsch Duo Jet. Specifically, plastic string gizzy, metal thingy that holds the plastic string gizzy in place, and metal screws which hold said parts onto the bridge. Sorry for being technical. Anyone got a piece or two of this puzzle. Seems when I added the Bixby in 1958 which comes with the roller bridge, a few of the Melita parts excaped over the ensuing 48 years. Perhaps the greys have them. Just had the guitar renecked and refretted for $700+ and the guitar may now become a year of retirement if I can get it put it into perfect shape. It sure plays nice. This is the only item I bought in the ’50s which has gone up in value. I do thank you for paying attention. Just in case my email doesn’t show…it is [email protected]
I would like to know if could anybody knows where I can get a "Vibrato TailPiece for Solid Body Guitar For
Jaguar or Jazzmaster Guitar???, I need to buy one but I do not know where.
I will be forever greateful if someone can help me!!
Thanks a lot,

Thanks.
I need either the entire flying trapeze/bridge set up, or just the tailpiece that connects to the body of the guitar for a ’58 ES 225 TD (The same bridge as the original ’52 Les Paul) Please email me at [email protected] with the word "TAILPIECE" in the subject line, so I can catch it if it gets blocked by a spam protector.

Hi
I have a 58 es225 with the short later style tailpiece. You may well have found what you’re looking for by now. I’m trying to find an original Bigsby for my guitar as it’s apparent it came from the factory with one. Incidentally using a short tailpiece with a floating tune-o-matic is preferable to the older trapeze piece because you can intonate the guitar much more accurately. You see many 58 225’s with this set-up and all the 59’s. They look more elegant as well. Maybe you’d be willing to keep your eyes peeled for a Bigsby and we’ll arrange my set-up for you. Here’s my e-mail [email protected]
If you havent found your trapeze tailpiece yet email Timothy [email protected] he has them at 250.00 each. If you have found it would you mind telling me where if it was less expensive?
Same problem with mine … trapeze tailpiece wore in two right where the trapeze and tailpiece come together. Ive been looking for 5 years for a replacement and I can find everything except the trapeze tailpiece! it was a belly flop when Gibson went with it … I mean 10″ trapeze? wow!
Does anyone know if a 60’s tailpiece will work … they are a bit shorter. I’m almost to the point of putting a Evertune on it. I know it will devalue the guit … Im not worried about that … just want to get something on it that works. not a big fan of tremolo bars. but if I can find an original bigsby I would do that instead of Evertune.
could you send me the specs neck releaf sting highth and pick up highth, highth off the nut for a 2004 deluxe telecaster made in the USA many thanks Blake

I dont know where you can fine parts to this guitar but i have the same one and would like to know more about it. How much could i sell it for? Or about how many were made?
that would be great if you knew any of this info.
Well, obviously it depends on the condition, but if it had most of the original parts and was in pretty decent condition I would guess between $250-$400, maybe more. Also, I believe that not many were made, unlike the Harmony Rocket and others like it. But if you hear anything about parts I would be greatly appreciative.

Rob, do you still have the guitar, and is it still for sale?
Let me know, I might be interested in buying it off you?

I have had a black pickguard moulded from gel coated fibreglass for my es 120t. I can run off more for other 120t owners. It is indistinguishable from the original but much stronger.
I too need a pickguard for a Gibson ES-120T. The original has a big chunk Can you help? Thanks in advance for your time in this matter.
