with continued digging and help from another site, I've decided it's a Kay N-2 but I don't know if the P-2 and/or the L7523 are style numbers or paint codes or ? I found two tiny nail holes indicating there was a badge/emblem on the headstock and a photo of a very similar Kay N-2 that had the daggerlike Kay V emblem. Now I need to find an old stock badge... help?
