      Black Neck thru,With maple fretboard and 1/2 block inlays. I do not have the original pickups any longer it has an 85 emg’s in it.I would sell the guitar with no Pickups/pots or jack.Only the guitar and tremolo (sypder Kahler 2700) and tuners/locking nut all go with you.I have never seen one like this before. And have been thinking of selling her!!! when I saw your post ,I would love for her to go to a good home.       I have a red Peavy Vandenberg that I purchased in 1989. I played it for 2 1/2 years and it was put away in it’s hard case. It has been stored in it’s mint condition for the last 11 years. I need to know how to determine if it’s a 1st or 2nd version. The guitar is for sale. Make an offer.

      I have a Peavey Vandenberg Quilt Top.
      She’s in a great state, from 1989. I don’t know if you can believe me but she earned to Adrian Vandenberg who give it to my friend because he didn’t like the color. He showed me the photo. It’s the Van Halen instrument maker who made it. ( I know, difficult to believe too, but real )
      Maybe we can verify with the series number. It’s 00005382.
      Also the color is transparent sunburst, she’s clean, great sound with the 2 humbecker Seymour Duncan originals.
      She coasted in 1989 2800$ and I sell it 3500$ because of her rarety and we can discute about the the price. There are german and danish people who want it but they have not enough money for the moment so she’s free.

      I have a the rarest Peavey Vandenbergs for sale. It is a White Puzzle. Some people say that there was only 6 white Puzzles made. Black Puzzles are more common but they are also very rare.
