I have a Mosrite, made sometime in the 60's. The re-issue
models are made in Japan, but they are still quality guitars. Mine has Seme Mosley USA and mosrite on each individual piece. It is sunburst with natural neck. The re-issue models are going for $1700.00 to $3000.00 and more, depending on the model. I don't know the value of originals like mine but it should be quite a bit more than the Japan models. I don't know anything about a bass, never owned one.
I took mine into a music store, after looking at all the Fenders, Gibsons and Taylors and others, I left with my Mosrite. He tried to get me to price it but I wouldn't.
Where would I start? Wish someone would put something on the net about original Mosrites and their value. Thanks.
