I also have one of these guitars, but I don't know anything about it, except that mine seems to hold it's strings much tighter than other acoustic guitars.
I'm looking for any RED LABEL, but especially the FG-180 and FG-300. Also I would love to have any FG-1000j, FG-1200j, FG-1500, FG-2000. Email me at cheapnotes@yahoo.com with what you have and a price. A picture would be great if you have one.
I've recently pick up a beautiful 67 Fender Coronado VII in the Wildwood II colors... It really looks and plays like its brand new but I can't find a case to fit it. the guitar is 43 inches long and 16 1/2 wide. I would love to track down an original case if possible, but would take anything at this point. Ideas???

I have a Dauphin Model 40 that was bought for me in the mid-80s. There's a few minor scuffs: a ~1cm scratch on the body (where a string popped loose), also a scuff on the side of the neck. I can provide close-up pics of the flaws. Overall, though, this guitar is beautiful and sounds unbelievable.

I am not an expert. But I will say that my parents acquired a Multi-Kord back in the 60's, and my mom, who I never knew as a musical person, could play it quite well. I was amazed to watch her fluidly move her fingers (one hand holding the "tone bar", and the other with finger and thumb picks, plucking the strings)over the keyboard. Apparently they had owned one before my time, so when they acquired this one, they both seemed excited. I do remember that. It had six strings, and four pedals. If I remember correctly it had two fold-out legs, and two on the other end that threaded on. The legs were brass colored, and the unit itself was woodgrain. These were mostly made between around 1948 and 1962 (not completely sure about the years, but fairly close). As far as value, I believe that the value is whatever the market will bear. I would expect to be able to buy one (vintage) that needs no repair for around $400 or so, but I found one on line that was for sale at http://halifax.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-musical-instruments-Harlin-Bros-MultiKord-1950s-Pedal-Steel-1550-W0QQAdIdZ24910921, and this one was $1550. Copy and paste that link into your browser and you may be able to find the answer to your question. I have no idea whether the one there is like yours, but it closely resembles the one my parents had--except for the finish on the stringboard itself. You may also google "multi-kord" and find more info. I personally wish I knew what became of my parents' multi-kord. They both passed away over 20 years ago, and I am now older (57) and don't have a clue what became of it.

I just bought this guitar and know absolutely nothing about it except that I need a 9V plug in for it or 6 C batteries, which ever comes first I guess. I'll know soon if it even lights up. Any luck on finding a manual or someone to share theirs?
