Re: Pan guitar

I have a Pan electric. It is made to look like a black Les Paul with the white and black pin stripping around the edges. I've had it for 25 years. It has a neck I've never found on any other guitar and I love it. Breathe on the neck and you have a chord ? If anyone has one or knows any info let me know.

Re: Pan guitar

I also have a 6 stirng acoustic Pan, I saw one recently, almost identical made by Aria, so I think that it's
probably a copy of this company. Mine is quite old, not sure how old, sound is not bad, but some buzzing.
I've been recently thinking of selling it, but now that I''ve done some research on thses guitars and found them to
be rather rare I think I will keep it. Any more info would be appreciated.

Re: Pan guitar

I have a 1969 Trini Lopez Semi Acoustic model P-23. The guitar looks like the Trini Lopez Gibson.

I am glad to see that there are other pan lovers out there.

Re: Pan guitar

I have a Pan Custom Acoustic 6 string, Model #H-rl, Ser. # L4087 that I bought at a garage sale back in 1981. It was my primary acoustic for a lot of years. It has the identical fret and headstock inlays as an Ibanez 335 copy I just sold. When I wanted it electrified, I used an old Bill Lawrence pickup in it that I bought in 1971-72. Not the best sound, but it could be heard. Acoustically the guitar has always sounded rich, deep and full. I am listing it for sale @ $175 w/HSC. If anyone is interested, leave your email on a thread and I'll respond.

Re: Pan guitar

: I have a Semi-Acoustic Pan guitar that I am looking to find a good home for. I have no use for the instrument (it has been sitting around for years). Briefly it is a wider body with 2 "s" shaped cut-outs, sunburst finish, two black pick-ups and a tremolo tail with wooden detail on chrome. The serial number is 0197576. A sticker inside reads Pan guitars by Aria. It is in great physical condition with no gauges or cracks. The surface bears the usual scratching but could be polished back to life easily. It is missing the tremolo bar and spring as well as all 4 knobs for tone and volume. Wiring is intact, and pick-ups work great. I suspect it is long over due for its date with a good guitar technician. Probably a neck adjustment (it has a steel adjustable neck) and then resetting the bridge and intonation. Anyone interested in acquiring it or just discussing it with me can email me at marcal@mountaincable.net

Re: Pan guitar

I was wondering do you still have the guitar and of so how much do you want for it. Because I'm willing to buy it. If the price is right.
