  1. setting intonation
    Dan

I’m putting together a project guitar and having problems with the intonation. It’s a Fender mustang body with a Mighty Mite Stratocaster neck. The bridge and tremelo plate are from a Fender Mustang. I’ve read that if the string is sharp when fretted at the 12th fret then the saddle must be moved back, forward if the string is flat. All the strings are very sharp but adjusting the saddle makes no difference at all. Any suggestions?

  2. strange bass

My brother was given a "TUBBY" brand travel electric bass. It was found in an Austin, Tx. pawnshop. I think it is a "travel" bass because it is scaled down. It is not a toy, but is actually a very well made bass. The neck is maple, and the body is walnut. It has a stained natural finish. The Ser.# is 0000104. It is a solid body. We have discerned that it is NOT put out by the TUBBY speaker guys. If anyone can tell me anything about this, or any, "TUBBY", guitar or bass, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks loads, Barry L.
